Noida: 80 -year -old Chitra Singh, who lives in Noida’s NTPC Housing Society, was threatened by cyber thugs to implicate human organs in serious crimes like smuggling and money refinement under a conspiracy.
On July 8, a person who described himself as a Mumbai Police officer through a video call, tortured him mentally by pretending to misuse the Aadhaar card and other documents.
Fake arrest and pressure on ED’s name
The thugs scared Chitra Singh by showing fake papers of arrest and fake freezing order of ED. He said that the entire racket allegedly included Naresh Goyal and expressed suspicion that Chitra is also part of the same gang. Due to this, he was kept in “digital arrest” for ten days and every activity was monitored.
Loot between online inquiry and false promises
In the name of online inquiry of the alleged CBI and police officers, the thugs assured that the funds deposited in their account would be returned after investigation. For this, he ate false swears. The victim continued to transfer Rs 1.5 crore from her bank account to various accounts after getting under fear and confusion.

A female employee of the bank was suspected of repeated transactions by the victim. She tried to talk to Chitra and when she could not give any information, the employee herself reached her home. After going there, she feared cheating and she reached the cyber police station with Chitra.
