Patna: All India Mahila Congress general secretary and in charge of the organisation’s Bihar affairs, Gunjan Singh, on Wednesday alleged that violence against women in the state were rising.Talking to reporters at the party’s state headquarters, she referred to the sense of insecurity among girl students and women in general, and also pointed to the death of a medical aspirant from Jehanabad, who was putting up in a girls’ hostel.
Earlier, she held a meeting with the Bihar Mahila Congress functionaries to discuss the party’s programme to strengthen the state unit of the organisation as part of the ‘Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan’.
