Vadodara: The wife of a policeman living in the police quarters in Godhra landed up in trouble for beating a puppy. An offence was registered against her after a video of the beating went viral.Reserve police inspector M S Nisarta registered an offence at Godhra Town A Division police station after being approached by assistant sub-inspector Kamlesh Baria and two sons of policemen. Nisarta was told that Sheetal Pandor, the wife of a police constable, badly beat the puppy staying near Baria’s quarters on Thursday. Baria told Nisarta that he used to take care of the puppy and fed it. According to Baria, the dog was limping after being beaten and was badly injured. A video showing Pandor beating the puppy with a stick had gone viral. An offence was registered on Saturday night. The dog was treated by veterinary doctors.
