The coordination meeting of private X -ray operators under the chairmanship of Chief Medical Officer Naveen Chandra was held in the Bacha Bhawan Auditorium at the Collectorate.
In the meeting, the Chief Medical Officer said that according to the instructions of the government, under the National Decay Eradication Program, an X -ray test is to be done by screening and enrollment of 100 percent of the population of all at risk in the 100 -day intensive TB campaign being run in the district. In which action is required by private X -ray operators to free the district TB, that in this campaign, weakened population by X -ray machines installed in private hospitals (individuals above 60 years of age/malnourished person/5 years old TB patient/3 years from 3 years T.B. Patient’s nearest contact person/Diabetic patient/HIV patient/drug (smoking and alcohol) person/slum population/prison/old age home) etc. should be provided free exercise for TB examination.
He said that in digital X -ray machines, store the X ray image on the computer with the date. If there is a doubt of TB, then the patient should be given a film. During the campaign, the full details of the X -ray for making 100 percent enrollment on the entire portal of all TB Testing done by private X -ray machines should be made available to the District Tuberculosis Center daily on the prescribed format.
