According to Congress, one BJP agent allegedly filed 78 deletion applications on Jan 15, eight times the daily limit.Congress mentioned the names of five BLAs who filed over 40 applications each on the same day.

One of those BLAs withdrew 48 deletion applications the very next day, said Patkar.State Congress president said violations only surfaced because data from Navelim constituency was uploaded online. He demanded immediate publication of similar data from all constituencies and said that transparency had already exposed systematic abuse.“These figures are impossible under any lawful, ethical, or procedural interpretation,” Patkar said. “This strongly points towards a coordinated attempt to manipulate electoral rolls and suppress the voice of Goans.”He said strict action should be taken against all officials who may have approved questionable deletions.
