CM to offer jalabhishek at Gorakhnath temple on Mahashivratri tomorrow

Gorakhpur: CM Yogi will perform special prayers on the occasion of Mahashivratri at Gorakhnath temple on Sunday. The CM will also offer jalabhishek at three major Shiv temples in Gorakhpur — Mansarovar, Mukteshwarnath, and Piteshwarnath at Bharohiya — seeking blessings for public welfare.On Saturday, the CM will visit the ancient Mahadev Jharkhandi temple, known for its spiritual significance, to perform rituals. As Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath is revered as a manifestation of Lord Shiva, the tradition of Shiva worship during Maha Shivratri remains integral to the Nathpanth. On Sunday morning, after prayers at Gorakshapeeth, the CM will head to the historic Mansarovar temple at Andhiyari Bagh and the Mukteshwarnath temple at Rajghat for darshan and jalabhishek. Later in the afternoon, he will visit the Piteshwarnath temple at Bharohiya for rituals.
