New Delhi: In a reply to the assembly amid a row over her alleged remarks, leader of the opposition Atishi on Monday denied allegations that she had made derogatory remarks against Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur and sought access to the unedited official video recordings of the house proceedings to prove her stand, said officials.In the written reply to a notice issued by the assembly’s privileges committee, Atishi rejected BJP MLAs’ charge that she had used “insulting words” while referring to Guru Tegh Bahadur during the recently concluded winter session.

According to officials, Atishi also sought copies of the complaint against her and the communications from the speaker.Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said, “No one expected her to accept her fault of insulting the Sikh Guru Sahiban.”
