Prayagraj: A 17-year-old class 12 student was found hanging in his room in Tagore Town, Prayagraj, on Saturday morning. His family alleges murder, accusing a girl and three others of blackmail and killing him after a 6-month relationship.The student’s father claims that the girl demanded money repeatedly. She messaged him on Friday night, saying that “she is leaving him and she is least concerned if he dies”. The body of the boy was found hanging the next morning. The family insists he was murdered and the scene was staged.Georgetown police said that the police took the family complaint and registered a case, conducted a scene inspection and sent the body for post-mortem examination. Legal action is being taken by the police.
