City experiences slight haze as min temp remains up

Ahmedabad: With the impact of Western Disturbance, the citizens experienced haze in the early morning hours as the minimum temperature hovered around 19 degrees for the second consecutive day. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the minimum temperature on Tuesday is likely to be around 19 degrees.The minimum temperature on Monday was 19.5 degrees, which was 6.1 degrees higher than normal, whereas at 30.1 degrees, the maximum temperature was 0.8 degrees higher than normal.

Due to the impact of Western Disturbance, some parts of the state, including Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Gir Somnath, and Amreli, experienced light rainfall on Monday. No major change was expected across the state in minimum temperatures for the next 7 days.At 12.5 degrees, Naliya had the lowest minimum temperature, followed by 15.3 degrees in Kandla and 15.6 degrees in Bhuj, among others.
