Chitrakoot News : Central and state governments are jointly making plans for the development of Chitrakoot, why should suggestions be sought from this district of MP?

Chitrakoot. Which is an important place from religious and tourist point of view, about 30 thousand devotees come every day. This number further increases to lakhs during Amavasya fair and Diwali fair.

In such a situation, keeping in mind the increasing number of devotees, the state and central governments have made an integrated urban development plan for the development of Chitrakoot. Under this, various developmental activities are being implemented, so that better facilities and transportation arrangements can be ensured for the devotees coming here in the future.

There are a large number of temples
There are a large number of religious places and temples in Chitrakoot area, some of which are located on government and forest department land, while some are on private land. Some of these temples are managed by the Satna Collector, while some are run by private trusts. In view of the increasing number of devotees in the present and future, it is the responsibility of the government and administration to take concrete steps for traffic, facilities, and crowd control.

In this context, preparations are being made to make a special Act for Chitrakoot on the lines of Madhya Pradesh Maa Sharda Devi Temple Act-2002 and Mahakal Act-1982. Satna Collector has invited suggestions from common citizens and intelligentsia on this subject. Suggestions can be sent to the office of Chitrakoot Development Authority District Satna (MP) or email id cdasatna@gmail.com till December 8.
