Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Pencak Silat sub-junior, junior and senior teams — both men and women — will take part in the 3rd All India Pencak Silat Championship to be held from Jan 29 to 31 at the Parade Ground Indoor Hall in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. In the sub-junior category (boys and girls), Daksh and Sujata will represent Chandigarh. The junior boys’ and girls’ contingent comprises Sujit, Paras, Princi, Somya, Julie and Ashima. The senior squad (men and women) includes Sahil, Himanshu, Dhruv, Yadvinder, Tanisha, Ritu, Manisha, Aanandita, Sehaj and Anuhar. The support staff features Parminder Singh as the men’s coach, Vandna Singh Rana as the women’s coach and Pooja as the team manager. tnn
