Basti. A car and dumper collided in Basti district, killing a police sub -inspector in the car and injured the head constable. The police gave this information on Saturday.
Police said that Sub Inspector Hari Narayan Mishra (57) was coming from Gorakhpur to Pacolia police station by car when his car collided with a dumper on Harraiya-Bhanan Marg in Harraiya area on the way. He told that Mishra died on the spot in this incident.
Police said that the head constable Ram Kumar Dubey, who was driving the car, was injured who has been admitted to the hospital. He told that Mishra was posted at Pacolia police station. He told that the body has been sent for postmortem.
