Lucknow. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the budget for the 8th consecutive time in Parliament. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has reduced the prices of many things by giving big relief to the middle class in the budget. At the same time, the budget has been announced to change the appearance of India Post i.e. Postal Department.
Presenting the budget, the Finance Minister said that the government plans to convert the Indian Postal Department into a large logistics group, which can speed up the rural economy. While presenting the budget in Parliament on Saturday, Sitharaman said that the government will increase the loan guarantee cover for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to improve their debt access to their debt. In addition, the government will offer a ‘customized’ credit card with a limit of Rs five lakh for micro enterprises.
He said that farmers credit cards will provide short -term loans to 7.7 crore farmers, fishermen and dairy farmers. He said that well -operated export -oriented MSME will be provided a fixed loan of up to Rs 20 crore. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday announced to increase the limit of interest assistance scheme for Kisan Credit Card (KCC) from Rs 3 lakh to Rs five lakh.
