Majhouwan, Ballia: A special ceremony was held on Saturday to commemorate Buddha Purnima and Mother’s Day at Mother Teresa Convent School, Pachrukhia. The program was started by the school director Swami Ravi Shankar ji. On this occasion, the students expressed their love and gratitude to motherhood through colorful presentations. The school administration honored the mothers who attended the ceremony by presenting mementoes.
The program saw beautiful coordination of both emotional and cultural aspects. Highlighting the role of mothers, HOD Abhijeet Kishore said that he is not only the backbone of the family, but also plays an important role in the character building of children.
Principal Kusumlata Singh and Manager Prem Kishore informed the children about the messages of peace, compassion and non -violence of Lord Buddha on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. The students performed dances, drama and songs based on Buddha’s teachings. On Mother’s Day, the children made them feel special by presenting songs, speeches, dances and handmade gifts to their mothers.
All the teachers and staff of the school were present in the program including Alok Kumar, Pradeep Singh, Priyanka Pandey, Asha Pandey, Munni Singh.
