Patna: The body of 50-year-old Vinod Prasad, a resident of Tribhuvan Bigha under Tharthari police station area in Nalanda district, was found in a drain in Fatuha police station area on Sunday. His family alleged he was murdered due to an old dispute over around 1.5 bighas of ancestral land inherited from his maternal grandfather. The deceased’s son, Rajiv Kumar, accused a cousin of killing his father. Rural SP Kundan Kumar inspected the spot, while an FSL team collected evidence. Police said the exact cause of death will be after the arrival of autopsy report.
