TNNLudhiana: Discovery of a body in a water channel near Burg Hari Singh village in Raikot caused panic in the area. The deceased is believed to have been around 45 to 46 years of age.Upon receiving information, a team from Sadar Raikot police station reached the spot and recovered the body, which was found in a water channel near the BDPO office in Burg Hari Singh village. They added that the village panchayat alerted the police after spotting the body.Preliminary investigation suggests that the deceased, who was often seen in the area, may have been suffering from health issues. The body has been shifted to the Jagraon govt hospital mortuary, where it will be kept for 72 hours for identification.
