Body found hanging 60ft high on tree

Lucknow: An unidentified youth was found hanging from a tree nearly 60ft above the ground behind Charbagh railway station, forcing police, fire services and state disaster response force (SDRF) teams to deploy specialised equipment to retrieve the body.Police said the Naka police station received information around noon that a youth was seen hanging from a tree behind the station premises. When police reached the spot, they found the body suspended high above the ground with a scarf. Initial attempts by the local police to bring the body down proved unsuccessful due to the height and dense branches of the tree.

Police said efforts are underway to establish the identity of the deceased. The body was sent for post-mortem examination.
