German Automaker BMW has silently rolled out a refreshed version of its logo, and starting next month, the updated badge will appear across the brand’s entire line-up. The new design was first seen last September on the iX3, and from this month, i.e., February, BMW will begin using the revised logo across the rest of its model range. The logo update is a subtle one, with small tweaks to colours, finishes and textures rather than a complete redesign. The updated logo does away with the chrome crossbars that previously split the blue and white sections.
The remaining chrome elements now carry a darker, smoked tone, adding a more contemporary touch. The BMW lettering has been refined with thinner characters, and the black surround has moved away from a glossy finish to a softer satin or matte texture. BMW is also expected to update its M Performance logo, though the company has not yet shared any details. If the changes to the standard roundel are anything to go by, the update is likely to be a small and understated styling refresh rather than a major redesign.
The soon-to-be-launched BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro SUV is expected to feature this updated logo. The new BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro will be the most powerful SUV sold in the Indian market. It will get a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which puts out 258hp and 400Nm torque. The engine comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. The engine also gets a 48V mild hybrid assist and is capable of a 0-100kph sprint in 6.3 seconds. It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 14.61kpl.
The upcoming BMW X3 30 xDrive features updated exterior styling marked by sharper design elements and a more pronounced road presence. Key visual updates include an illuminated kidney grille, bigger 20-inch wheels, and the M Sport Professional package, which adds sportier design elements and additional features. The new BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro will also introduce a fresh Brooklyn Grey exterior shade, joining the existing Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Tanzanite Blue and Dune Grey colour options. The SUV retains features offered on other X3 variants, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a head-up display (HUD), a head-up display, a 15-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, powered and ventilated front seats with memory function and more.
