The accused sustained injuries while attempting to flee, police said.During preliminary interrogation, Gurmeet disclosed that around 1 and a half months ago, he travelled to Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh, where he befriended Pawan, Mahendra, Sanju and Akash. The group remained in constant contact and later stayed at Gurmeet’s residence in Hansi. To arrange money for travel expenses, they allegedly planned a robbery. Police said Gurmeet earlier ran a salon in Sector-5, Hansi, which Subhash Chandra regularly visited. Noting that the victim often wore gold jewellery, the accused allegedly conspired with his associates to rob him.
