New Delhi: A businessman was shot dead while having biryani at an eatery in northeast Delhi’s Seelampur area on Tuesday afternoon .The deceased, Tariq, and his friend Saddam went to Javed Biryani Shop in K-Block, Seelampur, police said. “While Saddam went inside the shop to wash his hands after eating, Tariq remained standing behind him. When Saddam turned back, he noticed Tariq sat down. Tariq then told him that he was hit by a bullet. Saddam immediately took Tariq to GTB Hospital ,” a senior police officer said. He was decalred brought dead. A case was registered. TNN
