Bhilwara: Bhilwara police Thursday released a list of women and their associates involved in honey trap cases in the district, with sperintendent of police Dharmendra Singh appealing to the public to remain cautious of such gangs and assuring that police would keep identities of victims confidential.The SP said some women in Bhilwara district extorted money from people after luring them into honey traps, using blackmail or threat of false cases. He said cases were registered against such women and their associates in various police stations of the district. The SP appealed to the public to contact police without any fear if they were victims of such honey traps, as police would provide them full assistance and take strict action against the accused women.
He said legal action would also be taken against those who supported women in such crimes.
