Kolkata: In the continuing pre-poll reshuffle of senior IPS officers, the Bengal govt on Saturday transferred 6 IPS officers in the rank of ADG, IG and SP.Rajeev Mishra, presently posted as ADG and IGP (modernisation and coordination), was named as ADG South Bengal.

This post was previously held by Supratim Sarkar before he was posted as the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata.Laxmi Narayan Meena, presently ADG and IG, Correctional Services, was posted as the top boss of the state CID. He will take over as ADG and IGP, CID, the post previously held by Vishal Garg, who was appointed as ADG (cyber) a few days ago.Mukesh, the IGP of Murshidabad and Jangipur range, was posted as IGP, IB. Syed Waquar Raza, posted as DIG of Nadia and Ranaghat range, was named as the DIG, Murshidabad range. He held the same post before his transfer a few days ago.Amarnath K, who is SP Krishnanagar Police District, was posted as SP Jalpaiguri, and Y Raghuvamshi, posted as SP Jalpaiguri, was named the SP, Krishnanagar Police Division.
