Kolkata: Bidhannagar police have submitted the chargesheet in Salt Lake goldsmith, Swapan Kamilya, murder case, naming five arrested persons. The chargesheet has mentioned Rajganj BDO Prasanta Barman, the prime suspect in the case,as ‘absconding,’ sources said. Arrest warrant has been issued against Barman. Investigators said a supplementary chargesheet would be filed after his arrest and questioning. So far, the chargesheet names five arrested accused — Raju Dhali, Tufan Thapa, Sajal Sarkar, Vivekananda Sarkar and Gobinda Sarkar—who are facing charges of murder, abduction, theft, destruction of evidence and criminal conspiracy. tnn
