Baramati plane crash: Wristwatch, sitting position help cops identify Ajit Pawar’s body

BARAMATI: Police personnel identified the body of deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar through his wristwatch and sitting position on the aircraft.Superintendent of police, Pune Rural, Sandeep Singh Gill told TOI, “Our team inspected all the bodies recovered from the crash site and identified the deputy chief minister’s body by studying his wristwatch. The police personnel were familiar with it. Moreover, he takes a special seat while flying in such aircraft. After studying the position of the body where it was found after the crash, our team confirmed that it was Ajit Pawar’s body.
