Bank manager found hanging in Motihari
A bank manager was discovered hanging in his room in Motihari, with his family alleging his wife murdered him over his opposition to her alleged affair. The wife and their two young daughters have reportedly fled. Police are investigating all angles, including work-related stress, and are attempting to locate the wife.

Patna: A bank manager was found hanging in his room at Motihari in East Champaran district on Friday.The family of the deceased alleged that he was killed by his wife as he opposed her extra-marital affair. The deceased’s wife, along with her two daughters, aged six and four years, fled the house before the last rites.The deceased was identified as Jitendra Kumar Paswan (40), who was serving as manager at Ramgarhwa Gramin Bank for the past one year.Paswan’s brother-in-law, Suraj, alleged: “Jitendra’s wife Vandana was having an extramarital relationship for about one year. She killed him.”He said Vandana informed him over the phone that Jitendra was found hanging using her dupatta after an argument previous night.SDPO Manish Anand said, “Family members claimed that Jitendra was healthy but under work-related stress. All angles are being investigated and the wife is being traced.”
