New Zealand vs Bangladesh Champions Trophy : Bangladesh have crossed the 50-run mark in the group stage game against New Zealand after losing their first wicket, Tanzid Hasan, for 24 in the 9th over. New Zealand captain Mitchell Santer has won the toss and he has opted to bowl first against Bangladesh in their Champions Trophy clash in Rawalpindi. The fate of Group A, especially Pakistan’s future in the tournament is also banking on the result of this match. If New Zealand defeat Bangladesh in this match, the group is done and dusted with India and Black Caps qualifying to the next round which will eliminate hosts Pakistan as well as Bangladesh.

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santer said at the toss: “We are gonna bowl. It looks a good surface and hopefully, it gets better under lights. We have got two changes. Kyle Jamieson comes in place of Nathan Smith. Unfortunately, Daryl Mitchell is unwell and Rachin Ravindra replaces him.” Bangladesh have picked speedster Nahid Rana for this match. Najmul Shanto said: “I would have bowled first as well but it looks a pretty good wicket. Batting will not be an issue. We have made two changes. Mahmudullah Riyad & Nahid Rana back into the side in place of Soumya and Sakib.”
