Ballia News: Wife ate poison after controversy with husband, death during treatment

Ballia. A woman took a suicide step after a domestic dispute on Sunday evening in Mahatapar village of Sikanderpur police station area. After a quarrel between the husband and wife over the mobile, the wife ate the toxic substance. He died during treatment in critical condition. The police have taken the body and sent it for postmortem and the husband of the deceased has been taken into custody.

According to the information, Runi (27) daughter Arvind Verma, a resident of Sariyav, was married to Dharmendra Verma of Mahathapar village. On Sunday evening, Roney was watching something on her mobile, when Dharmendra asked for a mobile. Both of them got upset about this and Dharmendra slapped Roney. After this he went out of the house.

Shortly after, Roney ate the poisonous substance kept in the house. When the family came to know about this, he immediately rushed him to the Sikanderpur Community Health Center. After first aid he was referred to the district hospital, but the family took him to a private hospital, where he died during treatment.

Police reached the spot as soon as the incident was received. The father of the deceased has given a complaint in the police station. Roney is left behind by two innocent daughters, Roli (5) and Golu (3). SHO Praveen Singh said that further legal action will be taken after the post -mortem report.
