Jhansi: The Indian Army formation at Babina held a meeting with officials of the district administration and police department along with the officials from the forest, excise and mining Departments with an aim to enhance synergy and coordination among all stakeholders to ensure security and safety at Babina station and the Babina field firing range.Various protocols and schedules for joint operations were discussed and finalised. Initiatives to protect lives and property from grievous harm and damage due to pilferage and mishandling of unexploded munitions in the range area were also debated.

The meeting was attended by Arun Kumar Gaud, ADM (J), Preeti Singh, SP (City), Shailendra Singh, Mining Officer, Neeraj Arya, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) along with other officials from civil and Indian Army.One of the officials from the Army said, “Participation by representatives from multiple departments enabled comprehensive deliberations and strengthened inter-departmental coordination for effective implementation of safety and security measures”.He further said that the meeting reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to robust civil–military cooperation in ensuring a safe and secure environment. The interaction highlighted the importance of coordinated planning, proactive information sharing and joint preventive measures with the civil administration and allied departments to safeguard local communities and critical areas.The initiative further strengthened civil–military fusion by fostering seamless integration of resources, expertise and response mechanisms between the armed forces and civil authorities. Such synergy enhances operational preparedness, crisis response capability and overall effectiveness during both routine and emergency situations.
