New York. Several rounds of talks have taken place between India and America regarding the trade deal and efforts are going on for this bilateral trade agreement. Another new update has come on this matter. In fact, India’s Ambassador to the US Vinay Mohan Kwatra said, “We are in constant touch with the US Trade Representative (UTR) on the issue of trade and tariffs, so that a mutually beneficial and balanced trade agreement can be reached as soon as possible.”
He further said, “Our efforts continued throughout this year. The foundation of relations was laid during the Prime Minister’s visit in early February. We agreed on important and concrete agreements in many areas. Space was also one of them.
Bilateral space cooperation between the two countries
Vinay Mohanquatra on Wednesday described the successful launch of a US communications satellite by India as a very important and big day for the partnership between Washington and New Delhi and said it is the culmination of a series of achievements in bilateral space cooperation between the two countries till 2025.
Vinay Mohan Kwatra mentioned the Axiom-4 mission, under which Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla of the Indian Air Force went to the International Space Station. This was India’s first manned space mission to the ISS. He also mentioned the NISAR mission, which was successfully completed, launched and operationalized.
“If you look at the areas we have planned in the space sector, after 10 months you can easily see that we have achieved almost all of them,” Kwatra said. We also continue to work very actively in other areas including business, science and technology, AI.
