Mathura. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has said that the festival of cultural rituals is continuing uninterrupted under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All the places associated with Lord Krishna in Madhya Pradesh will be developed as pilgrimage sites. Dr Yadav expressed these views in a discussion with the media after visiting the birthplace of Lord Krishna in Mathura with his family.
The Chief Minister said that along with the social welfare activities of Lord Krishna, his receiving education, manifestation of the excellent feeling of friendship, receiving the Sudarshan Chakra from Lord Parshuram, many such activities have taken place on the land of Madhya Pradesh. The state government is going to develop all these places as pilgrimage sites. Prime Minister Shri Modi is committed to promote religious tourism.
The Chief Minister said that this pilgrimage developed in Madhya Pradesh will become a center of devotion and attraction for the followers of Lord Krishna present in large numbers in the country and the world. This year, the state government organized Govardhan Puja and Geeta Jayanti with great pomp in the entire state. Janmashtami will also be celebrated with full gaiety and joy in the state. Dr. Yadav said that it is a prayer to God that we all adopt in our lives the inspiration that Lord Krishna has given to follow the path of social harmony, tolerance and truth.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that his visit to Mathura, Gokul, Vrindavan and the birthplace of Lord Krishna has been possible only due to the grace of Lord Krishna. The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Krishna for the welfare and well-being of the people of the state. After visiting the birthplace, Dr. Yadav bought a statue of Madhusudhan’s charming child form from a shop.
