Aligarh News Live: Gang stealing batteries from towers busted, 5 arrested

Aligarh police arrested five smart thieves of a gang who stole mobile tower batteries from Kandli Bamba on Mathura Road. 10 batteries, two illegal pistols, two cartridges, a WagonR car and a Splendor bike were recovered from the possession of the accused.Police investigation revealed that these clever thieves used to do recce of mobile towers through car and bike during the day and used to make videos and photos and share them among themselves. After this, they used to carry out thefts in a planned manner. Iglas police station registered a report against the accused under relevant sections and took further action and sent all the five thieves to jail.
