There has been great news for the residents of Aligarh before Holi. A budget of Rs 400 crore has passed for the widening of the 45 km long Ramghat Kalyan Marg. The Expenditure Finance Committee has approved the project and the construction work is likely to start from April.
In the first phase, 21 km forelane from Quarcy intersection to Atrauli Anvatibai intersection will be constructed from Rs 186 crore. In the second phase, 13 km forelane from Anvatibai intersection to Mohammadpur Badhera village will be constructed under the NABARD scheme for Rs 109 crore. Under this project, 45 meter long bridge at Barauth Canal near Harduaganj, 58 meter long bridge over Kali River and 33 meter long bridge on Neem River near Atrauli. After the budget approval, the process of construction work has now been expedited, so that this demand for years will be fulfilled.
