AKTU students to get internship opportunities at Isro

Lucknow: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) would offer its students an opportunity to undertake internships at the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) providing valuable exposure to advanced research and space technology.According to the eligibility criteria, BTech students can apply after completing their sixth semester for internships ranging from 10 to 24 weeks. MTech students are eligible after the first semester for internships of 10 to 36 weeks. Diploma students can opt for internships lasting 12 to 24 weeks, while MSc and PhD scholars may apply for internships ranging from 10 to 52 weeks. Applicants must have secured at least 60 percent marks or a minimum CGPA of 6.3.

The internships will be conducted across ISRO’s 15 centres throughout India. Selected students will also receive a stipend and must apply through the official Isro’s online portal. Mahip Singh, CEO, Innovation Hub, AKTU, said: “This internship programme will give students hands-on experience in a premier research organisation like Isro, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application while enhancing their technical skills, research exposure, and future career prospects in science and technology sectors.”
