Lucknow: The cabinet passed a condolence resolution for Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar on Thursday. Pawar died in an air crash in Maharashtra’s Baramati on Wednesday morning. In its resolution, the cabinet expressed deep grief over Pawar’s sudden demise.
The cabinet described his death, and that of 4 others with him in the aircraft, as “extremely tragic”. It expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.In its resolution, the cabinet said: “The untimely demise of Ajit Pawar is an irreparable loss. In his long public life, he maintained a deep connection with the people of Maharashtra and worked for the welfare of every section of society.” tnn
