Prayagraj: The two-day Commanders’ Conference of Central Air Command (CAC) concluded at Headquarters Central Air Command, Bamrauli on Wednesday.Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), presided over the conference. On arrival on Tuesday, he was received by Air Marshal B Manikantan, PVSM AVSM VM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command, and was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour. During his visit, the Chief of the Air Staff laid a wreath at the CAC War Memorial, paying homage to the brave air warriors who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation.The CAS reviewed the operational preparedness of CAC and emphasized the imperative of maintaining the highest level of readiness in the prevailing security environment. He appreciated Central Air Command for its performance during Operation Sindoor, major air exercises, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions, and support to civil administration. The two-day conference involved a comprehensive internal review of all operational, maintenance and administrative issues. The AOC-in-C CAC, Air Mshl B Maninkantan, in his concluding address, appreciated the role and contribution of each Stn towards achieving operational readiness and high state of serviceability. tnn
