Noida district hospital gets AI-enabled e-ICU command centre

Ghaziabad: Union health minister JP Nadda on Tuesday inaugurated an AI-enabled e-ICU command centre that will allow critically ill patients at MMG District Hospital to receive remote specialist supervision from doctors at Yashoda Medicity.Officials said the command centre will enable continuous monitoring of ICU patients at the district hospital using AI-supported systems that analyse real-time clinical data, detect early signs of deterioration, and generate alerts for doctors. It would integrate bedside devices and hospital information systems into a central dashboard, allowing specialists at Yashoda Medicity to review cases and guide on-ground teams round-the-clock.“India is excelling globally in vaccination, affordable health care services, and medical infrastructure. Initiatives such as AI-enabled e-ICU demonstrate the power of technology in strengthening healthcare infrastructure. The platform will provide continuous expert oversight and remote guidance to improve outcomes for critically ill patients,” Nadda said.Dr PN Arora, chairman and managing director of Yashoda Group of Hospitals, said the command centre combined intelligent monitoring and real-time data analysis to extend the reach of intensive care beyond tertiary hospitals and was rolled out under the corporate social responsibility programme of the hospital.
