Jind: A family in Haryana’s Uchana Kalan is overjoyed after it was finally ‘blessed’ with a son after 24 years of marriage. Surender, a resident of Uchana Kalan, is the father of 9 daughters, and waited for a son for 23 years.
Family members claimed that he raised all his daughters with great same care and affection. “Now, after 9 sisters, a son has been born in the family,” said a family member.The family is overjoyed at the birth of the son. Expressing happiness, an aunt said, “Lord Ram has blessed them with a son and filled their hearts with joy; therefore, they will name the child Dilkhush. The couple’s eldest daughters are 21 and 20 years old, and were married in November last year.
Both mother and child are completely healthy.”Father Surender added that by God’s grace, a son was born after 9 daughters. “Whenever a daughter was born, people used to say that God should give us a son. God listened to everyone, and now a son has been born, bringing great happiness to all of us. My daughters now have a brother,” he said. Two daughters were married in November last year. The youngest daughter is 3 years old, while the eldest is 21. Surender also shared the names of his daughters: Kalpana, Aarti, Bharti, Khushi, Mansu, Rajni, Rajiv, Kaffi, and Maffi.
As per sources, the boy’s mother, Reetu, is around 38 years old. Dr Yogesh Sharma, deputed as medical officer in Uchana Kalan Civil Hospital, stated that the woman arrived at around 4 pm on Monday for delivery. She has delivered 10 daughters earlier, and this was her 11th child. As Reetu is 38 years old and underwent several deliveries already, special medical care was required. As per sources, one daughter, the 4th child, had died within just 1 week of birth. “I named one daughter as Kafi, but them God blessed us with another daughter, so we named her Maffi. But now, all our dreams have come true,” Surender said.
