Rae Bareli ! On the eve of Martyrs’ Day, in memory of the farmers who were martyred in the Kisan Andolan, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Siddharth and Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Amrita Singh along with other officials and eminent citizens and traders offered Deepdaan on the banks of the Sai River and garlanded and lit lamps at the Bharat Mata Temple.
 Additional District Magistrate Administration said that on the pious banks of river Sai, farmers carried out a big movement against the policies of the British in which many farmers were martyred. He said that this freedom has been achieved after the tireless struggles of our ancestors. We all should understand its importance.  The main programs of the martyr tribute ceremony will be organized on 07 January 2025, at 11:30 am at the martyr memorial site Munshiganj. In which programs like tribute to the immortal martyrs by the District Magistrate / eminent citizens, honoring the freedom fighters etc. will be organized.
