New Delhi. The Cabinet Committee of the Cabinet – ACC has approved the appointment of 65 officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) from across the country, including Ajay Kumar Mishra of UP cadre to the post of Inspector General (IG) or equivalent at the center. This approval is given on the basis of “First Review” and “Second Review”.
The officers included in the list are from various states and batches. Many officers of Uttar Pradesh cadre were also impainted. Out of these, 18 officers have received this promotion under the first review and 2 officers have received this promotion under Second Review.
