Prayagraj: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Allahabad University unit, on Monday submitted a memorandum to the university administration, stressing the need to maintain peace, social harmony, and academic dignity on the campus. The student organisation said Allahabad University is a temple of knowledge where discipline, mutual respect, and a healthy educational environment must be preserved at all costs.The memorandum was submitted to Atul Narayan, AU Proctor, urging the administration to take firm action against any activity that disturbs campus harmony. The organisation drew attention to certain recent activities which, it claimed, were adversely affecting the academic atmosphere of the campus.Kavyanshi Kumari, Unit Secretary of ABVP alleged that over the past few days, some anarchist elements made attempts to vitiate the campus environment, which the organisation strongly condemns. She said the memorandum was submitted to ensure that mutual harmony prevails and such activities do not take root on the campus.Prashansa Jatav, AU Unit SHoDH Convener, said ABVP clearly demanded an immediate halt to all activities aimed at fragmenting the unity of the university community. The delegation included unit president Himanshu Pandey, unit secretary Kavyanshi Kumari, unit research convener Prashansa Jatav, unit joint secretary Anurag Mishra, along with other ABVP members.
