A meeting was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium regarding the preparation for the elections of Lucknow Block Graduate and Lucknow Block Teacher Constituencies of the Legislative Council in the district. The meeting was presided over by Deputy District Election Officer/Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Siddharth.
In the meeting, the necessary preparations for conducting the election process in a transparent, fair and systematic manner were discussed in detail. Â He directed the concerned officials to ensure compliance with the election rules in letter and spirit. He has told that as per the program announced by the Election Commission of India, due to the tenure of the elected members of Lucknow Block Graduate and Lucknow Block Teacher Constituencies of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council ending on 06 December 2026, the activities, duration/date have been fixed as per the program for de-novo revision of the electoral rolls of the constituencies on the basis of eligibility on 01 November 2025.
Second re-publication of notice in newspapers on 25 October 2025 (Saturday). Last date for receipt of applications in Form-18 or 19, as the case may be, 06 November 2025 (Thursday). Printing of draft electoral rolls will be done on 20 November 2025 (Thursday). Graphic publication of electoral rolls on 25 November 2025 (Tuesday). Period for filing claims and objections: 25 November 2025 (Tuesday) to 10 December 2025 (Wednesday). Disposal of claims and objections 25 December 2025 (Thursday). The final publication of electoral rolls has been scheduled for 30 December 2025 (Tuesday).
