Raebareli News ! Under Mission Shakti Face 5.0 and National Nutrition Month, Nutrition Panchayat program was successfully organized in Block Rahi Auditorium. The program was presided over by Poonam Dwivedi, Honorable Member of Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission.
The Anganwadi workers present in the program were given detailed information about the outline, objectives and importance of the Nutrition Panchayat programme. On this occasion, information about the schemes run by the District Probation Department and Women Welfare Department in the interest of women and girls and other public welfare schemes of the government was also provided.
In her address, Mrs. Dwivedi said that nutrition is the foundation of a healthy society, and proper nutrition of women and children is the basis of the nation’s progress. He discussed in detail the points like limited use of sugar, salt and oil, promotion of vocal for local products, early childhood care and education, convergence and digitalization to solve the problem of obesity.
Emphasizing the need for male participation and gender-balanced advocacy, he said that only through a sense of collective responsibility in families can improvements in nutrition and health outcomes be achieved. He instructed Anganwadi workers to organize continuous awareness campaigns, workshops on nutrition and outreach activities at the community level.
In the program, he also administered nutrition oath to Anganwadi workers and people present in the auditorium to promote balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. The program was conducted by S.S. Done by Pandey.
On this occasion, District Probation Officer Jaipal Verma, District Program Officer Vinay Kumar Singh, Child Development Project Officer Surendra Kumar, Ruma Parveen, member Bharatiya Goseva Parishad Suraj Singh and other concerned officers were present.
