Raebareli News ! A grand seminar on Karmayoga, Prohibition of Alcohol and Developed India was organized at NTPC Auditorium, Unchahar. Additional Chief Secretary, Social Welfare and Sainik Welfare Department and Director General UPAM and SIRD Shri L. Venkateshwar Lu participated as chief guests in the program.

The main objective of the seminar was to strengthen the capacity building, cooperation and coordination of the employees under Mission Karmayogi, to make people aware about prohibition and to establish dialogue for the concept of developed India. Additional Chief Secretary L Venkateshwar Lu said that Karmayoga does not just mean doing work, but discharging responsibilities with full honesty and devotion and linking it with the welfare of the society and nation building. Praising the Karmayogi initiative, he said that earlier it was limited only to civil servants but now its scope has become very wide. Praising the head teachers present in the auditorium, he said that all of you have an important contribution in the development of Karmayogis. We have to expand its scope further and involve other people also.

State Prohibition Officer K.L. Rajvanshi gave detailed information on the topic of prohibition during the program. He highlighted the physical, mental and social side effects of addiction and called for creating a drug-free environment in the society. He said that mobile addiction is also a digital addiction. People’s lives are also being affected by this.
On this occasion, citizen participation and administrative accountability were also discussed to realize the resolution of Vikas Uttar Pradesh – Samarth Uttar Pradesh 2047.

Chief Development Officer Arpit Upadhyay, Executive Director NTPC Unchahar Abhay Kumar Srivastava, DIOS Sanjeev Singh, District Social Welfare Officer Srishti Awasthi and officials of various departments, principals of colleges and stakeholders were present in the seminar.
The stage was moderated by Abhishek Dwivedi. In the end, the participants took a pledge to build a drug-free, strong and developed India.
