Raebareli News: Trade show organized for the benefit of construction workers registered in Swadeshi Fair.

Raebareli News ! Assistant Labor Commissioner RL Swarnkar has told that UP Trade Show Swadeshi Fair is being organized from 09 to 18 October at GIC Ground Rae Bareli in the district. In the program organized at the fair venue on the occasion of the second day, various schemes run by the Labor Department for the benefit of the construction workers registered under the “UP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board”, such as “Maternity, Child and Girl Child Assistance Scheme” in which benefits are given on the birth of two children, “Girl Marriage Assistance Scheme” in which benefits are given for the marriage of two daughters and “Construction Workers Death and Disability Assistance” in case of death of a registered construction worker. Scheme” is being operated in which detailed information has been provided to the workers present and the general public regarding the benefits payable to the dependents of deceased registered workers.

Workers were also informed that eligible registered workers can apply through their nearest public convenience center to avail benefits under the said schemes. To apply in the schemes, it is necessary to have updated updates. Registered construction workers were asked to get their renewal done through the nearest public convenience center and unregistered construction workers were asked to get themselves registered.

In this program, information was specifically given that such construction workers registered with the Board who have not done renewal for the last 04 years or more will be put in the inactive list after October 15, 2025 and the inactive workers will not be counted among the registered construction workers. He called upon all the registered construction workers to get their renewal done before October 15.
