Gurgaon: A 24-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men at an accommodation in the Sadar area. One person has been arrested following the incident that took place near Naharpur Rupa police post.Following a complaint — lodged with Sadar police station on Feb 24 by the survivor who is from Nepal — police arrested Manish Kumar, a resident of UP’s Etah, who is being interrogated.“We registered a gang-rape case and are conducting raids to nab the other two accused,” a police officer said.The woman was allegedly abducted after she fell unconscious in an auto-rickshaw after consuming liquor. The survivor, a resident of Kurukshetra, came to Gurgaon on Feb 23 to meet a friend in Ashok Vihar. According to her complaint, she was unable to find her friend and, under mental stress, consumed alcohol before boarding the auto-rickshaw to return. Three youths were already present in the vehicle.The woman said she lost consciousness due to heavy intoxication shortly after boarding the auto. When she regained consciousness, she found herself in a room, sources said. The woman alleged that the three youths then gang-raped her in the room.
