Gurgaon: A high-speed collision between two motorcycles near Khor village in Pataudi on Wednesday afternoon left one person dead and four others injured. According to a complaint filed by Ravish, a private bus conductor and resident of Khor, the accident occurred around 3.15pm. Ravish said he had parked his bus near an HP petrol pump and was preparing to return home when he saw a Splendor motorcycle carrying three youths from his village, Raman, Mainpal and Umesh, travelling from Pataudi towards Khor. Raman was riding the bike. Ravish alleged that another motorcycle approached from the opposite direction at high speed and collided head-on with their vehicle. Both motorcycles fell on the road, injuring all five riders. The three youths sustained serious injuries. Ravish and others rushed the injured to the government hospital in Pataudi in a private vehicle. Police identified the other motorcycle as HR76F9562, which was carrying two persons. Ravish later learnt that Raman succumbed to his injuries during treatment. “After receiving information about the accident, HC Ravinder reached CHC Pataudi and obtained medico-legal reports. All injured were initially recorded as unknown and referred to PGIMS Rohtak and govt Hospital, Gurgaon, for treatment. Later, hospital records confirmed the death of one of the injured,” a cop said.Police have registered a case at Pataudi police station under sections 281, 125A and 106 of BNS. The accused has not yet been arrested.
