HYDERABAD: In a major reshuffle of IAS officers, the Telangana government on Wednesday night transferred 45 officers, including nearly a dozen district collectors. The move was aimed at filling vacancies and rotating officers, particularly collectors, who have completed nearly two years in their districts. Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar was shifted from the Industries, Commerce, and IT departments and posted to Panchayat Raj and Rural Development. N Sridhar, the current Principal Secretary of Panchayat Raj and Mines and Geology, was posted to the Industries department while continuing to handle Mines and Geology. The government also transferred Principal Secretary of Irrigation Rahul Bojja, and E Sridhar was posted to the Irrigation department. Rahul Bojja now handles the General Administration Department (Political) and the BC Welfare Department. He had served in the same department for two years. Despite speculations about his removal last year, the government retained him. Special Secretary (Revenue) (Disaster Management) Arvind Kumar was shifted from Disaster Management and was not assigned a new posting, following the Centre’s approval to prosecute him in the Formula E race case. Dana Kishore has been made in charge of Disaster Management. The 1994-batch officer Sabyasachi Ghosh, Special Chief Secretary of flagship welfare and developmental schemes, has been redesignated with an added responsibility for Corporate Social Responsibility. After a long time, Gaurav Uppal, Secretary for coordination on GOI projects and central schemes, currently working in Delhi, was shifted as Secretary in the Finance and Planning department. He was also made Managing Director of the Telangana Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGMSIDC), replacing Phaninader Reddy. Among the district collectors transferred were those of Mahbubnagar, Jangaon, Yadadri-Bhongiri, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Medak, Karimnagar, Narayanpet, Hanmakonda, Vikarabad, Mahbubabad, and Bhadradri-Kothagudem.
- B Vijendra, Mahbubnagar Collector, was posted as Secretary of the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society and Commissioner of SC Development.
- Rizwanbasha Shaik moved from Jangaon to Jogulamba-Gadwal, replacing BM Santosh, who became Director of Tribal Welfare.
- Prateek Jain, Vikarabad Collector, was posted to Narayanpet.
- Sneha Shabarish, Hanmakonda Collector, was posted to Mahbubabad.
- Garima Agarwal, Additional Collector of Rajanna Sircilla, was made Collector of Sircilla.

M Hanumantha Rao, Yadadri-Bhongiri Collector, was posted as Director of Endowments and Special Officer of Godavari Pushkaralu, which will be held next year. Other transfers included:
