Kanpur: Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav criticised the BJP for the govt’s embarrassment at the recent AI Summit, accusing it of inadequate preparation and security oversights.“The BJP govt was unprepared for this event due to which a private institution left the nation embarrassed. The demonstration, attended by international delegates, highlighted significant security preparation failures.“Akhilesh, who was in the city on Wednesday to attend a wedding, said that the legal action against Swami Avimukteshwaranand was regrettable, and an insult to him and Sanatan Dharma. He commented that the govt intended to scrutinise someone else’s documents, but now, after SIR, Hindus across the country were searching for their documents because their votes are most affected.He accused the authorities in Ayodhya of demolishing people’s homes and walls without notice, while BJP members engage in illegal construction, encroaching everywhere.Calling deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak as “ineffective”, he said that “had he been capable, Brahmins wouldn’t have faced humiliation in Prayagraj”.Regarding an incident in Kanpur Dehat, he mentioned that the affected family did not receive assistance to date. He remarked that true development would be evident when Kanpur progresses, mills operate, and it regains its status as an industrial hub.
