Kanpur: The health officials have been instructed to ensure mandatory presence of doctors in all urban health centres, primary health centres and the district hospital. In a meeting of the district health committee, the district magistrate said that in doctor or staff was found absent at any centre during the festival, strict action would be taken. All medical superintendents were asked to ensure full staff attendance. While reviewing the health services, DM Jitendra Pratap Singh said that any kind of negligence would not be tolerated.On Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya scheme, the officials were directed to immediately activate the inactive IDs department wise and to make at least two Ayushman cards daily from each operator ID. The DM directed the CMO to take action in case any laxity was found.To increase the vaccination in urban units, the medical officers in charge were asked to convene a separate meeting to review progress and to ensure timely use of funds of the public health committee.Laying special emphasis on financial management under the National Health Mission, the DM said that all financial files should be handled only through the senior finance and accounts officer appointed by the mission director. tnn
