Doctors said two of the men were in critical condition and are under close medical supervision. The driver of the Thar has been taken into custody and is being questioned. Police have seized both the damaged vehicles and initiated further proceedings. A preliminary investigation suggests that overspeeding and negligent driving were the primary causes of the accident. Authorities are also examining whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time, though this is not officially confirmed yet. The SUV also lacked a visible front number plate. Police are probing into this as well.Several videos of the accident have surfaced on social media, showing the damaged SUV, the wrecked e-rickshaw, the broken wheel lying on the road, and bloodstains at the site.
